Carbon Steel Bar
ASTM A572 steel bar is a popular grade of high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel that is typically used in structural applications. A572 steel contains chemical alloys that enhance the material’s hardness and ability to bear weight. There are five different grades of A572 steel plate: Grade 42, Grade 50, Grade 55, Grade 60 and Grade 65.
ASTM A36 steel bar is one of the most common grades of steel used in structural applications. This mild carbon steel grade contains chemical alloys that give it properties such as machinability, ductility, and strength that are ideal for use in constructing a variety of structures.
JIS G3101 SS400 Carbon Steel Bar
JIS G3101 SS400 steel is one of the most commonly used hot rolled general structural steel. JIS G3101 SS400 steel is usually supplied as SS400 steel plates, sheets, flats, bars, sections, etc.. No matter what form it is, JIS G3101 SS400 chemical composition will not change.
C45 steel bar is a medium carbon steel round bar that offers greater strength and hardness as compared to the low carbon grades. Formability and weldability of S45C is fair when using accepted shop practices. While machinability is good, this grade responds very well to forging and heat treating.
1008 steel round bar are medium carbon and chromium steel which has excellent tensile strength. This is welded and then used for screw machine parts, shafts, pins, spindles and rods. Also available in various other industries. SAE 1008 round bar has many chemical and mechanical properties such as steel grade, tensile strength and elongation.
SAE 1018 Carbon Steel Flat Bar
SAE 1018 carbon steel is a free machining grade that is the most commonly available grade around the world. Although its mechanical properties are not very unique, it still can be easily formed, machined, welded and fabricated.
AISI 4130 alloy steel is a medium carbon, low alloy steel in ASTM A29 standard. Annealing ASTM 4130 alloy steel offers excellent ductility. AISI 4130 steel is usually supplied as round bar commonly in the hardened and tempered condition.
AISI SAE 4140 alloy steel is a chromium molybdenum alloy steel specification widely used in general purpose high tensile steel for components, like axles, shafts, bolts, gears and other applications. AISI 4140 steel gives greater strength and heat treatment capabilities in comparison.
AISI 4340 steel is a medium carbon, low alloy steel known for its toughness and strength in relatively large sections. AISI 4340 is also one kind of nickel chromium molybdenum steels. AISI 4340 steel properties offer good ductility in the annealed condition, allowing it to be bent or formed.
EN8 is an unalloyed medium carbon steel grade with reasonable tensile strength. It is normally supplied in cold-drawn or as-rolled conditions. EN8 can be flame or induction hardened to produce a good surface hardness with moderate wear resistance.
EN9 carbon steel is a medium carbon steel grade commonly supplied in the as-rolled condition. It can be flame or induction hardened to produce a high surface hardness with excellent wear resistance for a carbon steel grade.
12L14 is a type of American standard lead - sulfur free - cutting structural steel (Automatic Steel). Alloyed elements in free-cutting steel like Se, lead can reduce cutting resistance and improve the finish and precision of machined parts.
