Stainless Steel Rebar

Stainless steel rebar is the most expensive reinforcing bar available, about eight times the price of epoxy-coated rebar. It is also the best rebar available for most projects. It is more resistant to damage than any of the other corrosive-resistant or corrosive-proof types or rebar; and it can be bent in the field.

    Application

Steel rebar is primarily used in concrete structural applications. These include floors, walls, pillars, and other projects that involve carrying heavy loads or aren’t supported well enough for just concrete to hold. Beyond these uses, rebar has also developed popularity in more decorative applications such as gates, furnishings, and art.

HPB300/HRB335 Reinforcement Rebar

HPB300 grade: The yield strength of steel bars in this grade is 300MPa, with high plasticity and toughness, suitable for general structural reinforcement and stirrups. HRB335 grade: The yield strength of this grade of steel bars is 335MPa, with high strength and good ductility, suitable for general structural reinforcement and stirrups, especially for projects with high strength requirements.

B500 Steel Reinforcement

European standard grades for steel products follow a set naming structure. Each grade starts with a single letter, and is followed by a number. The letter relates to the application and the number relates to the yield strength of the steel. Steel used for reinforcing concrete has the application letter B, and the number 500, which represents a minimum yield strength of 500MPa. The grades for reinforcement steel then have a final letter A, B or C.
